Virtual Summer Academies

Designed with high school students in mind, The Academies are taught by Harvard undergraduate students to help orient you to a pre-professional field of your choice. The virtual summer academies are an efficient and accessible way to experience The Academies throughout the summer. Gain insights in the fields you are interested in and build confidence in the decisions you'll make as you transition into college and your career.

What is it?

The Virtual Summer Academies are academic enrichment programs for high school students, held virtually on Zoom, covering the fields of Business, Coding, Government, and Pre-Medical studies. Each program contains twenty hours of programming featuring engaging lectures, interactive activities, and a final project presentation. Additionally, The Academies are uniquely positioned to foster connections between you and Harvard undergraduate mentors

The Academies will run from 12:00-4:00pm ET Monday through Friday on the dates below. 

When is It?

Programs will be hosted throughout the summer of 2023 on Zoom. Finalized program dates will be listed in January 2023.

How much is tuition?

The Virtual Summer Academies cost $500.
Pricing covers the cost of tuition only.

How Do I Enroll?

Acceptance into the Virtual Summer Academies is done through an application process. After an application review, accepted applicants will be sent a specific link to enroll in their program.

When do I apply?

The Academies will be welcoming applicants for our virtual summer programs starting January 2023. Deadlines will vary by program. Deadlines will be announced when program dates are listed.

Applicants will be notified one week after the deadline with an admission decision.
