We strive to ensure that the cost of attending The Academies will not prevent anyone with demonstrated financial need from participating in The Academies, whether you live 10 miles or 10,000 miles from Harvard's campus.
We are proud to be one of the only pre-college programs in the world that provides need-based financial aid equally to both domestic and international students, which is offered as a tuition discount. Students with demonstrated financial need are encouraged to apply for our need-based financial aid.
We consider demonstrated financial need separately from applicant eligibility. Therefore, students are encouraged to provide us with as much information as possible when applying for aid. Please know that the information you provide will be kept confidential.

How to Apply
Students must submit a separate financial aid application after they submit a general application. This financial aid application will only be available in the portal after a general application is submitted.
For virtual programs, applicants must apply for financial aid within two days of submitting their general application. For on-campus programs, applicants must apply for financial aid within one week of submitting their general application. If these deadlines are not met, the Committee on Financial Aid will not be able to review the financial aid application, so please plan accordingly.
